"Saturday mornings for myself at a young age consisted of me running to the living room, turning on the television early in the morning. I would color, paint, and play with my toys while Saturday morning cartoons came on. Only the best of cartoon shows played on Saturdays. Back then there were no DVRs so you had to watch the shows when it came on or you missed it. Anything you needed to do outside ow watching cartoons happened during commercial breaks.
Enter a kid Dr. Apples: A 1/6th customizes Blythe doll, replaying my childhood. 1990s era, he is planted to the television. His room has been handcrafted with all the nostalgic things that made the 90s so great. There are too many to pick out. He has everything he needs to enjoy his day -or until the cartoons are over then it’s time to play the Super Nintendo. What a spoiled brat! Enjoy this moment kid Dr. Apples. Pour yourself as much AppleJacks as you desire. Being a kid in this era was a joy."

In Childhood development usually girls develop faster than boys on every milestones.
Girls walk earlier than boys .
Girls talk earlier than boys.
Up to the age of 7 years old when boys start to catch up .
But tummytime changes that .
Babies who do long period of tummytime could achieve faster milestones since its strengthen their neck , back and limbs from an early age.
Eusoff has always love tummytime compared to Emelia who prefers to sit .
Its interesting to see who is able to walk first .
If my theory is correct - Eusoff will overtake Emelia in every milestones .
But never underestimate girls . They somehow always able to beat the odds .
I have seen it with my 2 girls Bella & Tasha .

PS - Having twins of different gender , it’s best to compare notes and prove my theory is right . Haha

當BB還在母體內的時候,一切營養來源都來自媽媽。憑的,是一條臍帶的連繫。初生嬰兒則全靠母乳生存。然而,根據世界衛生組織的建議,嬰兒到了六個月大左右,便要開始從固體食物吸收更多營養,以配合發育需要。這同時亦意味著,孩子正逐步走向獨立。
從剪斷臍帶、離開媽媽的身體,到告別母親的乳房,開始「離乳加固」,其實都是自然不過的成長階段,但這階段有什麼需要注意呢?

上集提到,由美國學者所創的 tools of the mind 課程,學生既可以每日返學,只係以玩遊戲方式學習,學術能力和自制能力亦明顯比其他小朋友優勝,而且更有獨立科學研究確認它的功效,到底 tools 課程有何特別之處?
其中一個與傳統教育方法最大的差異是,以往若我們想去調整小孩的行為,一般都會用獎勵正面行為、懲罰負面行為的方法。但從tools of the mind 課程的角度看,這些外來的引導手法(external reinforcement systems),其實有很多缺點,例如小朋友會變得只是識得服從、缺乏自發性,而且功效不持久,當不再有獎或者罰的時候,他們的行為便可能不再受到控制。
所以,在 tools 課室內,是不會有獎勵或懲罰的。因為 tools 的理念認為,小朋友的學習方式,是一個由內在牽動的自發過程(self-regulation),家長老師應該做的,是營造一個合適的環境,提供適當的輔助去誘導學生自發的學習。而最有效的方法,就是讓他們玩遊戲!
